Initially was supposed to be an AI commentary project, but honestly I have a lot to say about different things that aren't specifically AI focused. I'll make a specific post on AI at some point with a spin that is informed by my background in mental health work. Below is the og description for this project:
The current wave of artificial intelligence, spurred on by the power of attention and the development of large language models using various transformer architectures, holds promise of being the key to accelerating solutions to the toughest questions known to man.
AI may also accelerate the clock on our demise as a species.
Lastly, it may very well do nothing significant. We stand at the precipice of history, writ in real time. Here's my take on it.
