This year has been fucking crazy. A lot of things are different now. I'm around different people who I never would have imagined last year, and who I now can never live without. It's been incredible, exhilarating...
...and I wanted to share it, except it came with a lot of pain I'm still processing. I said goodbye to an entire life, I lost friends; I was hurt in deep ways by someone I once cared for and respected, and I went through a lot of crazy shit (shout out to you if you also went through crazy shit this year, we can talk about it).
I still don't really know how to share it — any and all of it. I've been trying to figure out how do we truly share experiences, moments in time, in a way where it's felt rather than consumed? How do we express the inexpressible? (maybe a future master's thesis)
All this to say, I am eternally grateful. Last year, I asked a few questions out loud to myself and no one in particular:
What makes us human?
What lasts?
I got my answers, yet I'm still finding out.
