That we live in a capitalist society
Is a fact. To name that fact is to become aware of the reality it represents — like infants, who by pointing and call a thing "dog" communicate that they have become aware of that thing as a distinct, essential category.
In the same vein, to repeat the fact we are in a capitalist society, ceaselessly and ad infinitum is to babble — just like babies do — in that it is devoid of essential meaning and disconnected from meaningful action.
Better than to babble, we first name the fact and become aware of its implications on how we live.
We then ask, is this how we want to live?
We dare to ask, how can we live better?
